Civil Society Dialogue is a programme bringing together civil society organisations from the EU and Turkey around common topics, to exchange knowledge and experience, and to build a sustained conversation between the organisations.
The Ministry for European Union Affairs administers the Civil Society Dialogue Programme, co-funded by the European Union and Republic of Turkey. The Central Finance and Contracting Unit acts as the contracting authority for this Programme.
The programme facilitates opportunities for civil society organisations in Turkey and in the EU Member States, working in the priority fields identified for each implementation period, to partner with each other and to design and implement a dialogue project. Since its launch in 2008, the Civil Society Dialogue Programme has supported over 300-dialogue partnerships in many different fields, witnessing thousands of activities, to bring EU and Turkish communities closer together and to create a greater mutual understanding amongst them by reaching individuals from different countries.
